The Uinta chipmunk, also known as a hidden forest chipmunk, is a small rodent found in the Western United States. It is a medium sized chipmunk and is distinguished from its cousins by its pattern of stripes. The image has been digitally enhanced to emphasize its color and texture.

My camera is never far from reach ...I have been making images for many years, and my eye is always looking for that special subject. I find myself also, "looking a little bit further", for that subject that can do "double-duty" ... both as a beautiful photograph ... and ... as an artistic rendition of that same subject. I love "working" with a photograph using various tools and programs available to me, to create an image which becomes artistically different than the original, yet, hopefully with the same quality and appeal to my viewers.
