About Clare VanderVeen

Clare VanderVeen

My camera is never far from reach ...I have been making images for many years, and my eye is always looking for that special subject. I find myself also, "looking a little bit further", for that subject that can do "double-duty" ... both as a beautiful photograph ... and ... as an artistic rendition of that same subject. I love "working" with a photograph using various tools and programs available to me, to create an image which becomes artistically different than the original, yet, hopefully with the same quality and appeal to my viewers. My interests are varied ... from natural images, both macro and wide angle, to industrial, to cityscapes, landscapes and waterscapes, to events, and most subjects in between, always looking to find...
